工作内容
会计师：
- 制定财务报表，核对或保存有关资产、财务、利润、损失、税务或其他资金的报告；
- 计算税款并准备纳税申报单，并确保遵守付款、报告以及其他纳税要求。
审计师：
- 稽查并审阅公司财务记录，分析其可靠性与准确性。
共同任务：
- 计算商业盈亏及估计税务，并找出不明的财务记录，针对问题，拟定解决方案；
- 根据财务报告，提呈财务规划建议；
- 协助管理层检讨公司业务与会计系统。
工作场所
工作多为室内办公，也需经常外出到客户公司或机构稽查。
所需知识/技能
- 有关会计学的知识和技能：账目处理、财务会计、成本会计、会计管理、税务与审查、经济学知识、财务分析、公司管理制度与商业法律、会计软件操作等；
- 有关文书处理的技能：文字处理、文件管理和记录、速记和抄写、表格设计，以及其他办公程序。

生涯途径
- 毕业于马来西亚会计师协会（MIA）承认的会计学士学位 > 累积三年相关工作经验 > 申请成为马来西亚会计师协会（MIA）会员 > 会计师。
- 通过马来西亚会计师协会（MIA）承认的专业会计资格考试（Qualifying Examination）> 累积三年相关工作经验 > 申请成为马来西亚会计师协会（MIA）会员 > 会计师。
- 参加我国承认的国内、外会计专业组织的会计资格考试并考核通过成为其会员 > 申请成为马来西亚会计师协会（MIA）会员 > 会计师。

审计师 VS 会计师
会计师负责进行账目处理，审计师则负责审计账目；两者的技能与知识几乎一致，但由于工作目的不同，因此工作的范围与立场也不一样。
NOTE：欲申请成为审计师需具备以下条件：特许会计师（成为马来西亚会计师协会会员至少一年）、五年相关工作经验 、参加（MIA）公共实践计划（Public Practice Programme） > 向马来西亚会计师局注册为合格审计师。

就业前景

As for a fresh grad who would like to gain more working experience, my advice is just involve yourself in any kind of the related job from tax or audit or a/c as long as you get a chance to work in the accounting firm. After 3yrs of pratical experience, I think you will know what is your best choice!
I study at SIM, if i study UOL bachelor honours account & finance, need i take another ACCA or ICPAS to become CPA? if study at RMIT, will it faster than UOL? because CPA is accredited by Australia, will it study RMIT be better? (RMIT is Australia, however, UOL is UK one)

LCCI 和 college 那个比较容易读？ 它们(LCCI and college) 有什么差别？
两者都是成为会计师的途径，可豁免部分ACCA试卷及晋级修读更高的文凭或学位。但LCCI是专业会计机构发出的文凭，而学院的会计文凭则是由学院本身发出。两者的休习年限、学费甚至是入学资格都不同，可向有关学院查询。
请问考获LCCI证书后，可以用来申请进入国立大学的degree课程吗？
国立大学并不接受以LCCI证书申请学士课程。

ACCA is wat ?
CAT属于会计基础课程，包含很基本的Audit课程，若要进入Audit的专业领域，完成CAT之后要继续修读更高等级的会计课程才可以，如继续读ACCA才能够成为Auditor。如果不选读CAT，也可以读会计学士课程（Degree），出来工作后可以在Audit领域工作，吸取经验后再继续考取ACCA更高级的文凭。要成为稽查师必须通过上文所列的途径注册成为MIA的会员。
如果要拿会计课程，需要什么条件呢？

报读文凭课程的最低资格是须有SPM文凭，学士课程则须有STPM或其他大学先修文凭。

LCCI、CAT和ACCA都是会计专业组织发出的证书。LCCI和CAT属于基础课程，然后才可选择念到ACCA的文凭。念完会计文凭后，应该可豁免部分专业会计考试的试卷。到时，进修至学士可豁免更多的试卷，念完后参加其他试卷的考试；而直接拿专业会计的课程可让你在毕业就可考取该专业文凭。你可以依本身的条件来选择升学途径。

LCCI应该还不可直接报读Degree，但是可以报读ACCA。你可以先了解成为特许会计师的途径和各课程的分别（如入学条件、学费等），再选择适合你的升学途径。
